Overview

University project creating promotional content for a hypothetical “Greatest Hits (So Far)” for alt-pop musician Troye Sivan during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Lyric Booklet

The lyric booklet would accompany the CD and vinyl release, featuring a double-page spread on each song within the album.

Visualiser

The shifting future of lyric booklets is seen in the use of short visualiser films on music streaming apps such as Spotify. Here their 3-8 second ‘Canvas’ feature substitutes the photographic accompaniments the traditional lyric booklet offers, and by partnering with Genius, Spotify provides live lyrics as songs play.
